Fashion designer

We're looking for a talented Fashion Designer to create stunning ethnic wear designs that showcase traditional and modern elements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian aesthetics, cultural nuances, and current fashion trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development: Create original and innovative designs for ethnic wear, including sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, and other traditional outfits.

2. Sketching and Illustration: Develop sketches and illustrations of designs, including technical drawings and specifications.

3. Fabric Selection: Choose suitable fabrics, colors, and embellishments that align with the design concept and brand aesthetic.

4. Pattern Making and Prototyping: Create patterns and prototypes to test designs and ensure fit, quality, and craftsmanship.

5. Collaboration: Work with design teams, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure designs are produced according to specifications.

6. Trend Research: Stay updated on current fashion trends, cultural influences, and consumer preferences.

7. Design Adaptation: Adapt designs for different markets, occasions, and customer segments.

Requirements:

1. Education: Degree in Fashion Design or related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in ethnic wear.

3. Skills:

- Strong drawing and sketching skills.

- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD).

- Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and embellishments.

- Understanding of Indian cultural and traditional aesthetics.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing ethnic wear designs.
