Position: Fashion & Textile Designer (Women's Ethnic Wear)
Location: Rathyatra / Sonarpura, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize new designs for premium Banarasi sarees, lehengas, and bridal suit sets.
Integrate intricate embroidery, zardozi, prints, and aari work into cohesive collections.
Develop technical sketches and computerized designs using CAD software.
Collaborate with local weavers and production teams to guide sampling and quality checks.
Research textile innovations while maintaining the purity of traditional handloom weaves.
Analyze market trends to develop commercial collections that boost sales for our B2B clients.

🛠️ Skills & Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of women's ethnic silhouettes, garment construction, and draping.
Strong command over fabric properties, specifically pure silk, organza, tissue, and premium cotton.
Expertise in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or specialized textile software.
Local sourcing knowledge of Varanasi's weaving clusters and embroidery artisans.
Excellent communication to bridge ideas between marketing teams and master weavers.

🎓 Experience & Education

Experience: Minimum 1 to 5+ years in Indian luxury ethnic wear or saree manufacturing.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Fashion/Textile Design from institutions like NIFT or similar.

Salary: 18,000 to 25,000 per month base don experience and expertise.
