Job Description

Job Title: Fashion Designer

Department: Design

Location: FLO

Experience: 1–3 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and market demand
Develop design concepts, mood boards, and seasonal collections
Create sketches, illustrations, and design specifications
Select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and color palettes
Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams
Guide sample development and ensure design accuracy
Make modifications based on buyer feedback and costing constraints
Ensure designs align with brand identity and target customer
Maintain design documentation and seasonal records

Key Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of fabrics, silhouettes, and garment construction
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (CorelDRAW is a plus)
Good understanding of trend forecasting and market research
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple styles
Strong communication and coordination skills
Attention to detail and creativity with commercial sense

Education & Qualification

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or Apparel Designing
Certification from a recognized fashion institute is preferred
