This role blends creative design with strategic communication, purchasing coordination, and hands-on client engagement. You’ll be the bridge between design vision and client satisfaction, ensuring every uniform reflects our brand promise.Key Responsibilities- Client Interaction & Communication- Attend client meetings to understand design requirements, brand aesthetics, and functional needs- Present mood boards, sketches, and fabric samples tailored to client briefs- Incorporate client feedback into iterative design revisions- Maintain clear, professional communication across WhatsApp, email, and in-person channels- Design Development- Assist in conceptualizing uniform designs aligned with industry trends and client branding- Create technical sketches, color palettes, and style variations- Collaborate with senior designers and pattern makers for sample development- Purchase & Vendor Coordination- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories based on design and budget requirements- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance- Maintain purchase records and assist in cost estimation for client proposals- Production Support- Oversee sample creation and ensure alignment with approved designs- Coordinate with production teams to resolve design-related queries- Conduct quality checks before final delivery- Documentation & Reporting- Maintain organized records of client briefs, design iterations, and purchase logs- Prepare client-ready presentations and follow-up reportsQualifications- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design or Textile Design- 0.6–2 years of experience in apparel or uniform design (internships count!)- Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools- Understanding of garment construction and fabric behaviorPreferred Traits- Empathetic communicator with a flair for storytelling through design- Organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment- Passion for blending tradition and modernity in uniform aesthetics.
