Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design Development: Create innovative designs for kurta sets, sherwanis, bandhgalas, and Indo-western outfits.
Trend Research: Stay updated on fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and embellishments relevant to men’s ethnic wear.
Fabric & Embroidery Selection: Work closely with vendors to source suitable fabrics, trims, and embroidery techniques.
Sampling & Production Coordination: Oversee sample development, provide technical specifications, and ensure design accuracy in production.
Client Customization: Adapt designs based on customer preferences and market demand.
Collaboration: Coordinate with merchandisers, pattern makers, and production teams to deliver high-quality collections.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or Textile Design.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in men’s ethnic wear design.
Strong knowledge of Indian fabrics, embroidery, and silhouettes.
Proficiency in design software (CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator) and manual sketching.
Excellent sense of color combinations, detailing, and finishing.
Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.

Compensation

Salary: ₹30k -50k per month (NEGOTIABLE).
