The Fashion Consultant plays a key role in enhancing the in-store customer experience by assisting customers in fabric selection, providing styling and design suggestions, and contributing to overall sales.
This role combines customer interaction, fashion styling, visual merchandising, and trend observation, helping the store make better buying decisions based on real customer insights.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Sales Support
Assist customers in making confident purchase decisions.Support the sales team in improving customer conversion.
Understand customer requirements based on occasion, budget, and preferences. Suggest outfit designs using available fabrics (sarees, blouses, kurtas, lehengas, etc.). Help customers visualize final outfits.
Visual Merchandising
Regularly update displays based on trends. Also, plan & assist in creating visually appealing arrangements to highlight key products, offers & new arrivals in the store.
Customer Feedback & Insights
Collect feedback from customers regarding preferences, pricing, and styles
Observe buying patterns and customer behavior
Identify popular colors, fabrics, and design trends
Share insights with management for better buying decisions
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily logs of customer interactions and observations
Record styling suggestions and their impact on sales
Submit weekly summaries and monthly insight reports
Highlight actionable recommendations for improving sales and inventory
