Job Description – AutoCAD & Optitex Designer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD & Optitex Designer with experience in garment designing, pattern making, and technical drafting. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of both AutoCAD and Optitex software, preferably within the garment, textile, or apparel manufacturing industry.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and modify garment patterns using Optitex Software.

• Prepare accurate 2D patterns, technical drawings, and layouts using AutoCAD.

• Develop digital patterns based on design specifications and measurement charts.

• Perform pattern grading for different garment sizes.

• Prepare marker layouts to optimize fabric utilization and minimize wastage.

• Coordinate with fashion designers, sampling teams, and production departments.

• Make necessary pattern adjustments based on sample fittings and production requirements.

• Ensure accuracy in measurements, sizing, pattern construction, and technical specifications.

• Maintain proper records of patterns, design files, and revisions.

• Support the sampling and production teams in resolving technical pattern-related issues.

• Ensure timely completion of design and pattern development assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Optitex Software.

• Strong knowledge of garment pattern making, grading, and marker making.

• Understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and measurements.

• Ability to interpret design sketches and technical specifications.

• Experience in garment manufacturing, apparel production, or the textile industry preferred.

• Good coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
