We are looking for a Event Manager to join our team to plan, organises, and executes events from start to finish, including managing budgets, timelines, and vendors. Key responsibilities involve coordinating logistics like venue selection and catering, marketing the event to its target audience, supervising on-site operations, and conducting post-event evaluations to ensure success and client satisfaction.
Core responsibilities
Planning:
Develop event concepts, themes, and objectives, create detailed timelines, and define event scope.
Budgeting:
Manage the event budget, track all expenditures, negotiate with vendors, and ensure the event stays within financial constraints.
Logistics:
Handle all logistical details, including selecting a venue, arranging catering and decor, securing audiovisual equipment, and managing transportation and setup.
Vendor and Staff Management:
Source and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers. Hire, train, and supervise event staff, volunteers, and contractors.
Marketing and Promotion:
Implement marketing and promotional strategies to reach the target audience and drive attendance.
Execution:
Oversee all on-site operations during the event, troubleshoot problems as they arise, and ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully.
Post-Event Analysis:
Conduct post-event evaluations, collect feedback, and prepare detailed reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
