Job Summary:

Scar Banquet is seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee all event operations, manage client communications, and drive banquet bookings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and coordinating events from start to finish, handling customer inquiries and follow-ups, and successfully converting leads into confirmed bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination:

  • Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events (weddings, corporate functions, private parties, etc.).

  • Ensure seamless coordination with kitchen, service, and décor teams for event execution.

  • Monitor event setup and ensure quality standards are met.

• Customer Engagement:

  • Call and follow up with potential and existing clients.

  • Explain banquet packages and services clearly and professionally.

  • Persuasively pitch and convince clients to book events at Scar Banquet.

  • Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Sales & Booking:

  • Meet or exceed monthly event booking targets.

  • Maintain a database of leads, inquiries, and follow-ups.

  • Prepare and send quotations, contracts, and event proposals.

• Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate with internal teams for availability, logistics, and special requests.

  • Keep accurate records of bookings, payments, and client feedback.

  • Provide post-event follow-up and gather customer reviews.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in banquet/event management or hospitality sales.

• Strong communication and persuasive skills.

• Ability to handle multiple events and deadlines efficiently.

• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using MS Office and basic CRM tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Fluency in multiple languages (a plus).
