Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and articulate Business News Anchor to deliver live and recorded broadcasts on financial markets, economic trends, and business developments. The ideal candidate should possess strong on-air presence, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of global and local business affairs.

Key Responsibilities: • Present live and recorded business news segments with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism. • Analyse and interpret financial reports, market data, and economic indicators for audience understanding. • Conduct live interviews with industry leaders, economists, and analysts. • Write or edit scripts, intros, and outros for news segments. • Collaborate with producers, researchers, and editors to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Stay updated on breaking business news, corporate earnings, mergers, IPOs, and global financial developments. • Provide insightful commentary on stock markets, commodities, and macroeconomic policy. • Represent the network/channel at public events and industry conferences when required. • Invite delegates for interviews and manage guest coordination. • Travel to cover events or report from on-location as and when required.

Preferred Skills: • Experience anchoring for digital, TV, or streaming news platforms. • Strong presence on social media and ability to engage with a digital audience.

Work Environment: • Fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom. • Early morning, evening, or weekend shifts may be required. • Studio-based with occasional travel for on-location reporting and field coverage.
