Site Supervisor - Data Center

Pragati Engineering Works (PEW) is an MEP contracting company working in the Data Center segment, handling operations and expansion projects for leading data center clients. We are hiring a Site Supervisor to execute our work orders across Mumbai and outstation sites.

Work Locations (travel required):

• Mumbai: Malad, Chandivali, Navi Mumbai

• Pune: Hinjawadi, Kharadi

• Gujarat: Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat

• Rest of Maharashtra: Nagpur, Kolhapur

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute company work orders on site as per scope, drawings, BOQ and timelines.

2. Supervise MEP works - Electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, fire safety, civil and allied works - in live data center environments.

3. Plan and allocate manpower, material and tools; coordinate with client facility teams and site engineers.

4. Ensure strict compliance with site safety rules - PPE, Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, toolbox talks and safe work practices for all personnel.

5. Maintain daily progress reports, material records, measurement sheets and site photographs.

6. Coordinate with the head office for material, billing support and handover documents.

7. Ensure quality of workmanship and timely closure of snags.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Diploma candidates only).

2. 3 to 5 years of site experience in MEP / electrical contracting; data center or critical facility experience preferred.

3. Sound knowledge of electrical systems - panels, cabling, earthing, DG, UPS, HT/LT distribution.

4. Sound knowledge of personnel safety and site safety procedures.

5. Must be able to read and write good English (reports, emails, client communication).

6. Must have permanent residence in Mumbai (living with family or as a bachelor).

7. Must be willing to travel to outstation sites in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month

• Conveyance paid separately

• Overtime pay

• Diwali bonus after completion of 1 year
