Service engineer

We are looking for an Service engineer to join our team at Technokart Infosolution Private Limited. The tasks will include installing, maintaining, and repairing UPS Inverter, Batteries etc. in buildings and houses. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Commissioning:

 Install and configure power solutions & Video Solutions (batteries, UPS, inverters, etc.) at customer sites.

 Conduct thorough system testing to ensure proper functionality after installation.

 Provide product demonstrations and explain system operations to customers.

 Ensure all installation work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and company protocols.

2. Maintenance and Repairs:

 Perform routine maintenance on power solutions & Video Solutions, including inspection, testing, and cleaning of systems.

 Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment and systems to restore functionality efficiently.

 Replace defective parts or components, ensuring the proper functioning of power and video systems.

 Document all maintenance and repair work, including detailed reports on issues and solutions.

3. Customer Support and Troubleshooting:

 Provide on-site/ Off-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers experiencing issues with their power solutions & Video Solutions.

 Guide customers through operational issues and provide corrective actions to ensure continued system reliability.

 Respond to emergency service requests promptly and resolve issues within the defined time frame.

 Educate customers on best practices for maintaining their power solutions & Video Solutions to avoid future issues.

4. Preventive Maintenance (PM):

 Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for customers on regular intervals to ensure the longevity and reliability of power solutions & Video Solutions.

 Ensure all PM work is documented and that customers are informed of service activities and recommendations.

 Provide reports to clients on equipment performance and potential upgrades or replacements as required.

5. Technical Documentation and Reporting:

 Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including customer interactions, equipment serial numbers, maintenance logs, and parts used.

 Prepare and submit service reports after every field service visit, outlining the issues found, actions taken, and any recommendations for future service.

 Update the service database with all relevant information to ensure the timely follow-up of outstanding service requests.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams:

 Collaborate with the technical support, sales, and customer service teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.

 Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to ensure that all required parts and tools are available for service calls.

 Coordinate with project managers and other teams to schedule installations and ensure timely execution of service activities.

7. Training and Development:

 Continuously update knowledge of the company’s products, including new technologies in power solutions & Video Solutions (UPS, inverters, batteries).

 Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on troubleshooting techniques, industry standards, and new product releases.

 Provide feedback to the product development and technical teams about recurring issues, potential improvements, and product performance.

8. Compliance and Safety:

 Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.

 Follow safety procedures when working with electrical systems, batteries, and heavy equipment.

 Properly handle hazardous materials such as batteries and ensure their disposal is done in accordance with environmental standards.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 6+ years of experience. Complete knowledge of safety procedures, the ability to understand electrical drawings/blueprints, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability are a must.
