Key Responsibilities • Install, commission, and test meteorological, environmental, and monitoring systems at client locations. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments. • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication-related issues. • Maintain service reports, installation checklists, calibration records, and customer documentation. • Provide technical training and demonstrations to customers when required. • Coordinate with the operations, project, and sales teams for service planning and execution. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and client requirements. • Support remote troubleshooting and customer queries via phone/email when required. Educational Qualification • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation. • Experience • 0–5 years of experience in field service, installation, or maintenance activities. • Experience with meteorological instruments, renewable energy systems, or industrial instrumentation will be an added advantage. Technical Skills • Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits. • Knowledge of sensors, data loggers, PLC/SCADA (basic), and communication protocols TCP/IP, RS485, Modbus. • Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and drawings. • Basic computer skills (MS Office, configuration software, data analysis tools). Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Good communication and customer-handling skills. • Willingness to travel extensively and work at remote project sites. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field. • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to remote sites, often in challenging weather or conditions.
