Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for electrical materials such as cables, switchgear, panels, lighting, and accessories.
Prepare purchase requisitions, RFQs, POs, and ensure timely procurement as per project or plant requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, stores, and project teams to understand technical specifications and material needs.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and company procurement policies.
Track order status, follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply, quality, or logistics-related issues.
Maintain vendor records, purchase data, pricing trends, and inventory coordination for cost optimization.
Support cost reduction initiatives through supplier development, rate comparisons, and value engineering.
