Job Summary
Pholus Globos Facility Service Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and proactive O&M Manpower Coordinator to manage manpower requirements across multiple client sites.
The primary responsibility of this role is to source, mobilize, deploy, coordinate, and retain skilled manpower required for O&M activities. The candidate should have a strong existing network of electricians, technicians, helpers, supervisors, and subcontractors and should be capable of arranging manpower at short notice.
The candidate will act as the key link between the company, site teams, manpower resources, and clients to ensure that all sites have adequate manpower and that O&M activities are carried out smoothly and without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manpower Sourcing & Mobilization
Source and mobilize electricians, technicians, helpers, supervisors, and other O&M manpower as per project requirements.
Maintain a strong and reliable network of skilled workers, manpower agencies, contractors, and subcontractors.
Arrange manpower for new site requirements within the required timeline.
Maintain a ready pool of manpower for urgent and emergency requirements.
Arrange replacement/backup manpower immediately in case of absenteeism, resignation, emergency, or increased site requirements.
Verify the availability, skills, experience, and suitability of workers before deployment.
Coordinate worker joining, deployment, transfer, and replacement.
2. Site Manpower Management
Ensure required manpower is available at all assigned client sites.
Coordinate daily manpower deployment according to site requirements.
Monitor attendance, absenteeism, late reporting, and worker availability.
Coordinate with site supervisors regarding daily manpower requirements.
Maintain manpower strength as per contractual requirements.
Regularly visit sites to monitor manpower performance and site conditions.
Resolve manpower-related issues between workers, supervisors, and clients.
3. O&M Site Coordination
Coordinate with site supervisors and O&M teams for smooth execution of maintenance activities.
Understand basic O&M requirements and arrange appropriate manpower accordingly.
Coordinate manpower for preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns by arranging required technicians and workers.
Coordinate manpower for electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and other facility-related activities.
Ensure that manpower is deployed according to the required skill level and job requirement.
4. Client & Internal Coordination
Coordinate with clients regarding manpower requirements and deployment.
Maintain professional relationships with client representatives and site teams.
Communicate manpower shortages, replacements, and deployment updates to management.
Coordinate with HR, Operations, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors.
Provide regular updates on manpower availability and site staffing status.
Handle and resolve manpower-related complaints and operational issues.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily manpower deployment reports.
Maintain attendance and absenteeism records.
Prepare manpower requirement and availability reports.
Maintain records of workers, contractors, and manpower agencies.
Track site-wise manpower strength.
Submit regular reports to the Operations/Management team.
Monitor worker joining and replacement records.
6. Workforce Performance & Retention
Monitor worker performance and discipline at client sites.
Identify reliable and skilled workers for long-term deployment.
Maintain good relationships with manpower resources to ensure continued availability.
Develop a dependable manpower backup system for critical sites.
Address worker concerns and coordinate with management for resolution.
Ensure manpower remains available during emergencies and peak workload periods.
Required Skills
Mandatory
Strong manpower sourcing and mobilization capability.
Existing network of electricians, technicians, helpers, supervisors, and subcontractors is highly preferred.
Proven experience in arranging manpower for multiple sites.
Ability to provide backup/replacement manpower at short notice.
Strong workforce coordination and team-management skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle multiple site requirements simultaneously.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent manpower requirements.
Good knowledge of Bangalore locations and willingness to travel between sites.
Ability to maintain manpower records and daily reports.
Technical Knowledge – Preferred
Basic knowledge of O&M and electrical maintenance is preferred, including:
HT/LT electrical systems
PCC, MCC and APFC panels
DG Sets and UPS
Transformers
ACB/VCB/MCCB and switchgear
Distribution Boards
Cable laying and termination
Electrical preventive and breakdown maintenance
Basic understanding of electrical safety and PPE
Note: Strong manpower sourcing, mobilization, workforce management, and site coordination experience will be given higher preference than advanced technical knowledge.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical or related field is preferred.
Candidates from Facility Management, O&M, Electrical Contracting, Infrastructure, or Manpower Management backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
Willingness to travel across Bangalore and nearby project locations.
