Multi-Skilled Technician ( MST)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and technical tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general civil works. The ideal candidate is adaptable, safety-conscious, and capable of resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain high standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, lighting, pumps, motors, valves, and other facility equipment.

• Carry out minor civil and carpentry work as required (e.g., painting, flooring, ceiling repairs).

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company SOPs.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, work orders, and completed repairs.

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide prompt technical solutions.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

• Support energy conservation initiatives and suggest improvements.

• Coordinate with external vendors when specialized maintenance is required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant technical trade.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or multi-skilled trade.

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Proficient in using tools, testing instruments, and maintenance software.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong adherence to safety practices and protocols.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• Electrical Wireman License (if applicable)

• HVAC Technician Certification

• Fire Safety or First Aid Certification (added advantage)
