Skills: 1. Ability to use ChatGPT / search engine tools to find technical solutions, safety procedures, and maintenance references efficiently. 2. Manual dexterity to operate various hand and power tools – hammers, drills, saws, etc. 3. Mechanical skills to understand which tools to use and how to use them. 4. Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail. 5. Ability to diagnose and repair system issues independently. 6. Knowledge of welding, cutting, grinding, rigging, and greasing operations. Job Responsibilities: 7. Collaboration skills to work with other fitters or departments on larger projects. 8. Basic knowledge of civil and plumbing work for minor maintenance activities. 9. Familiarity with HTU (Hydraulic truck unloader) operation and basic process understanding. 10. Physically fit and healthy for all types of industrial maintenance work.Job Responsibilities: 7. Perform repair, welding, cutting, grinding, and rigging work as needed. 4. Handle breakdowns efficiently to ensure minimum downtime. 5. Replace worn or damaged machine parts as necessary.6. Maintain stock of relevant consumables and report shortages. 7. Plan and execute small projects and fabrication work within the plant. 8. Perform general maintenance of unused or standby machines. 9. Carry out minor civil and plumbing works when required. 10. Support in HTU operation and related mechanical tasks. 11. Suggest improvements to reduce maintenance costs and improve plant efficiency. 12. Use ChatGPT / search engines to troubleshoot technical issues, access manuals, and enhance maintenance knowledge.
