Job Title: Electrician – Manufacturing Plant

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Plant Engineer

Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and control equipment in the manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring minimal downtime, maintaining safety standards, and supporting efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment within the plant.

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical panels, motors, and production machines.

• Support the production team by promptly responding to breakdowns and electrical faults.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes and company standards.

• Maintain documentation of electrical maintenance and repairs.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems.

• Monitor power consumption and suggest energy-saving improvements.

• Collaborate with mechanical maintenance teams and other departments for smooth plant operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI Electrician.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, motors, and PLC systems (basic knowledge preferred).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Understanding of safety procedures and electrical standards.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.
