Role Overview

Industry: Industrial Machinery Manufacturing (Plastic Injection Molding, Robotic Systems, & Servo Systems)

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Electrical Design & System Integration

Designing and laying out electrical systems, control panels, and circuitry for injection molding machines with a strict focus on safety, efficiency, and industrial codes.

Integrating and configuring Servo Systems (like the Servo MD series), electric motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and infrared barrel heaters.
Utilizing programming/scripting logic (such as C++, Python, or PLC logic frameworks) to map out machine automation and signal processing.

2. Testing, Calculations, and Optimization

Performing electrical calculations to determine exact component ratings, wiring gauges, and circuit breaker specifications to establish high-standard machine blueprints.

Analyzing existing electrical systems to identify potential hazards, electrical noise, or areas for energy-efficiency improvements.

3. Procurement and Quality Standards

Preparing precise technical purchase specifications for electrical raw materials, components (relays, PLCs, contactors, sensors), and external supplier parts.

Ensuring the electrical architecture aligns safely with the mechanical footprint of hydraulic, toggle, and mechanical composite clamping systems.

4. Installation, Supervision, and Support

Directing the hands-on assembly, wiring, and installation of control panels on the manufacturing shop floor.

Training, supervising, and coordinating with floor technicians to troubleshoot complex wiring errors or component failures during the machine testing phase.
