Job Summary

GreenSol Tech is seeking a skilled Motor Winding Technician to join our team in Baner, Pune. The role involves the rewinding, repair, and maintenance of motors used in STP/ETP plants. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in motor rewinding, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance, with a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform motor rewinding and repair for electric motors used in STP/ETP plants.

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of motors to ensure optimal performance.

• Diagnose basic electrical and mechanical faults in motors and related equipment.

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend motor lifespan.

• Test motor functionality post-repair to ensure compliance with operational standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

• Collaborate with the technical team to support plant operations and troubleshoot issues.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Education: ITI certification in Motor Rewinding, Electrical, or a related field.

• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in motor rewinding and repair, preferably in STP/ETP plant environments.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in motor rewinding techniques and tools.

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic motor faults.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and preventive maintenance practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Preferred:

  • Familiarity with motors used in water treatment or industrial applications.

  • Basic understanding of STP/ETP plant operations.
