Electrician – Job Description

The Electrician is responsible for ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of all electrical systems and equipment in the biscuit manufacturing plant. The role includes carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines, ovens, conveyors, packing machines, compressors, motors, electrical panels, MCCs, VFDs, sensors, and utility equipment. The Electrician shall identify and rectify electrical faults promptly to minimize production downtime, perform electrical installations and modifications as required, maintain power supply systems and DG sets, and ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards. The position requires maintaining maintenance records, coordinating with production and maintenance teams, following GMP, safety procedures, and company SOPs, and reporting any unsafe conditions immediately. The candidate should possess sound knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, control circuits, motors, and industrial electrical systems and be willing to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.

Mechanical Fitter – Job Description

The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and smooth functioning of all mechanical equipment and machinery in the biscuit manufacturing plant. The role includes carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance of conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, pumps, ovens, mixers, packing machines, and other production equipment. The Fitter shall diagnose and rectify mechanical faults, replace worn or damaged components, perform machine alignment and assembly, carry out fabrication and welding work when required, and ensure proper lubrication of all machinery according to maintenance schedules. The position also involves assisting in machine overhauls, shutdown maintenance activities, maintaining maintenance records, ensuring good housekeeping practices, and complying with all safety, GMP, and company procedures. The candidate should have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment, and be available for shift duties and emergency maintenance work whenever necessary.
