ITI Electrician

Job Purpose

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical, mechanical, kitchen, and other restaurant equipment to minimize breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out regular preventive maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities.

Attend and resolve electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment breakdowns.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify the root cause of breakdowns.

Ensure proper functioning of electrical panels, wiring, switches, lighting, sockets, and other electrical systems.

Support maintenance of kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, exhaust systems, and other QSR equipment.

Conduct routine inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before breakdowns occur.

Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance and breakdown activities.

Coordinate with external vendors/technicians for major repairs and equipment servicing.

Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and as per company SOPs.

Follow electrical and workplace safety standards at all times.

Ensure minimum downtime of critical restaurant equipment.

Maintain required tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.

Immediately report major equipment failures or safety concerns to the reporting manager.

Eligibility

Qualification: ITI – Electrical / Mechanical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or relevant trade.

Experience: 0–3 years in maintenance; QSR, hotel, retail, or commercial maintenance experience will be an advantage.

Freshers with relevant ITI qualification may also be considered.

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
