Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repair and servicing of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution panels, switches, sockets, wiring, and motors.

• Respond to electrical fault calls in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, banquet halls, back-of-house and other hotel facilities.

• Assist in installation of new electrical fixtures, wiring, lighting, backup generators, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems etc.

• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of emergency lighting, exit signs, fire alarm systems, and other safety-critical electrical installations.

• Perform preventative maintenance: plan and execute scheduled checks to avoid breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety & hotel standards.

• Diagnose faults using suitable tools (e.g. multimeter, insulation tester) and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.

• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, parts replaced, work orders and any electrical inspections.

• Ensure cleanliness and order in electrical work areas; proper handling and storage of tools, spare parts and materials.

• Cooperate with other maintenance / engineering team members for multidisciplinary tasks (e.g. coordination with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry).

• Be available for emergency repair work (may include standby, after-hours, shift rotation as needed).

• Participate in training / upskilling and follow policies for safety (use of PPE, lockout/tagout etc.)

• Knowldge in Genset.

• Knowledge in PPM maintanence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical qualification such as ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Higher Technical Certification in electrical trade.

• Minimum 2‑4 years experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality / hotel / large facilities maintenance environment.
