ITI Electrician

• Job Title: ITI Electrician

  Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor / Engineering Manager
  Experience: 2–5 years (preferred in pharmaceutical or GMP-compliant industry)
  Qualification: ITI – Electrician Trade

• Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

  • Familiarity with control panels, PLC basics, VFDs, and relays

  • Experience working with GMP documentation (SOPs, logs, checklists) – preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Adherence to safety protocols and electrical standards

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical panels, motors, pumps, HVAC systems, and utility equipment (e.g., AHUs, chillers, compressors).

• Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems in production, R&D, QC labs, and cleanroom areas.

• Perform electrical wiring, installations, and modifications as per safety standards.

• Monitor and maintain backup power systems (DG sets, UPS, inverters).

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Maintain logs and records of electrical maintenance activities.

• Support in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

• Identify and report potential hazards or equipment failures.

• Coordinate with other departments for smooth utility and equipment operation.
