The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that buildings, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, functional, and presentable condition. This includes performing regular inspections, handling minor repairs, coordinating with contractors, and keeping detailed maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or servicing.
Maintain logs of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organizational policies.
Assist in planning and executing facility upgrades or renovations.
Support environmental sustainability initiatives where applicable.
Report potential hazards or breakdown risks to management.
