Fitter

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery.

2. Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.

3. Handle fitting, dismantling and assembling of mechanical components.

4. Replace bearings, belts, chains, shafts and other machine parts.

5. Assist in maintenance of pumps, motors, gearboxes and conveyors.

6. Perform lubrication and regular inspection of machinery.

7. Ensure proper alignment and fitting of machine components.

8. Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance activities.

9. Maintain maintenance records and report machine-related issues.

10. Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace housekeeping.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance.

• ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

• Practical knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance tools.

• Ability to handle routine maintenance activities independently.

• It is a Full Time Electrician job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
