Field Technician – Electronic Meter Change

Job Description:

We are looking for Field Workers / Technicians for Electronic Meter Replacement Work at consumer sites. The work involves visiting assigned locations, safely removing old electricity meters, installing new electronic meters, and completing required documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit assigned consumer locations as per daily schedule

• Remove old electricity meters safely

• Install and activate new electronic meters correctly

• Ensure proper sealing and wiring as per guidelines

• Verify meter readings and functionality

• Take meter photos before and after replacement

• Fill job cards / mobile app entries accurately

• Follow safety rules and company procedures

• Coordinate with supervisor and report daily progress

Job Location:

Field work (local area / assigned zones)

Eligibility / Requirements:

• Minimum 10th / ITI / Diploma (Electrical preferred)

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and meters

• Field work experience preferred (training can be provided)

• Ability to use smartphone for photos and app entry

• Physically fit for outdoor field work

• Honest, responsible, and punctual
