Electrician

• Supervise installation and commissioning of 11kV/33kV/66kV transmission and distribution lines.

• Oversee rural electrification works including HT/LT pole erection, conductor stringing, and transformer installations.

• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.

• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and labor teams to execute work efficiently.

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks at various stages of the project.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (CEA, IE Rules, etc.) during construction activities.

• Maintain daily work records, manpower deployment logs, and material consumption reports.

• Identify technical issues and resolve them in consultation with engineers and project managers.

• Liaise with DISCOM officials, consultants, and clients as required.

• Supervise testing and commissioning activities for substations and feeders.

• Ensure proper maintenance of site tools, equipment, and safety gear.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech preferred for senior roles).

• Experience: 3–8 years in rural electrification or transmission projects (LT/HT lines, substations, etc.).

• Knowledge of RAPDRP, DDUGJY, IPDS, or similar government schemes is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of electrical layouts, line surveying, and BOQ reading.

• Familiarity with IS standards, safety protocols, and testing procedures.

• Good team supervision and communication skills.

• Willingness to work in remote/rural locations.
