Supervise installation and commissioning of 11kV/33kV/66kV transmission and distribution lines.
Oversee rural electrification works including HT/LT pole erection, conductor stringing, and transformer installations.
Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and labor teams to execute work efficiently.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks at various stages of the project.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (CEA, IE Rules, etc.) during construction activities.
Maintain daily work records, manpower deployment logs, and material consumption reports.
Identify technical issues and resolve them in consultation with engineers and project managers.
Liaise with DISCOM officials, consultants, and clients as required.
Supervise testing and commissioning activities for substations and feeders.
Ensure proper maintenance of site tools, equipment, and safety gear.
Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech preferred for senior roles).
Experience: 3–8 years in rural electrification or transmission projects (LT/HT lines, substations, etc.).
Knowledge of RAPDRP, DDUGJY, IPDS, or similar government schemes is preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical layouts, line surveying, and BOQ reading.
Familiarity with IS standards, safety protocols, and testing procedures.
Good team supervision and communication skills.
Willingness to work in remote/rural locations.
