Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our maintenance team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted power supply and the smooth functioning of electrical infrastructure across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.

Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment.

Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve them efficiently.

Read technical diagrams and blueprints to assess job requirements.

Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and safe condition.

Work with other maintenance team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Assist in energy-saving initiatives and suggest improvements to existing systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergencies involving electrical systems.

Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required Qualifications

ITI or Diploma in Electrical or a relevant trade certification.

1–4 years of experience as an Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.

Ability to read wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and manuals.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting and climbing.

Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
