JOB PROFILE

Sameer Engineering Services is hiring Electricians / Electrical Technicians for high-rise building electrical installation and construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduiting & Chasing

GI, PVC, HDPE and flexible conduit installation

Electrical slab conduiting

Wall chasing and floor chasing (Jhiri Cutting)

Concealed and surface conduiting

Installation of GI/PVC electrical boxes

Conduit routing as per approved drawings

2. Wiring & Cable Work

Lighting, power and socket wiring

Cable pulling and laying

Cable dressing, identification and ferruling

Cable termination and crimping

Power and control cable installation

Riser and electrical shaft wiring

3. Lighting Installation

LED lights, downlights, panel lights and ceiling lights

Emergency and exit lights

Decorative and common-area lighting

Lighting control and circuit connections

Installation and connection of lighting fixtures as per drawings

4. Switches, Sockets & Modular Plates

Switch and socket installation

Modular switch plates

Power points and dedicated appliance points

Data/communication points where required

Proper alignment, fixing and termination of all accessories

5. Electrical Panels & Distribution

Installation and dressing of DBs, SDBs and electrical panels

MCB, MCCB, RCCB/RCBO installation

Busbar and cable termination

Panel dressing and labeling

Incoming/outgoing cable termination

Testing and troubleshooting of distribution circuits

6. BMS & Control Wiring

BMS-related electrical installation work

BMS control and monitoring wiring

Connection of sensors, actuators and control devices

Control panel wiring

HVAC/BMS interface wiring

Following BMS drawings and point schedules

Coordination with BMS engineers and commissioning teams

7. Earthing & Electrical Safety

Earthing and bonding work

Earth cable installation and termination

Equipment and panel earthing

Continuity checking

Maintaining proper electrical safety standards

8. Cable Tray, Trunking & Riser Work

Cable tray installation

Cable trunking and raceway installation

Electrical shaft/riser work

Cable dressing and support

Maintaining proper spacing and routing

9. Testing & Commissioning

Continuity and insulation testing

Circuit identification

Phase/neutral checking

Fault finding and troubleshooting

Rectification of electrical installation defects

Assistance during testing and commissioning

10. Drawings & Site Coordination

Reading electrical layouts, SLDs and shop drawings

Working according to approved drawings and specifications

Coordination with site engineers, supervisors and other trades

Maintaining proper workmanship and site housekeeping

REQUIREMENTS

ITI Electrician / relevant electrical qualification preferred

Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, hotel or industrial projects preferred

Practical knowledge of electrical installation and wiring

Knowledge of lighting, switch plates, DBs, panels, cable trays and BMS/control wiring preferred

Ability to understand electrical drawings is an advantage

Safety-conscious and disciplined

Freshers with basic electrical knowledge may also apply

IMPORTANT

Candidates should be willing to work on high-rise building electrical projects and complete assigned project responsibilities professionally.
