Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications.

• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.

• Identify electrical problems using testing devices like voltmeters and oscilloscopes.

• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrade systems to meet safety regulations.

• Work on electrical systems in buildings during construction, renovation, or maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and standards.

• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate with other trades (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or electrician apprenticeship preferred.

• Valid electrician license or certification ([state-specific requirement]).

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand and power tools, and safety procedures.
