Job Opening – Electrician / Plumber (Multi-Skilled Technician)

Nexora Smart Home Solutions is looking for a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated technician to join our team. We are seeking an individual who can independently handle electrical and plumbing works, lead installations, and is eager to learn modern smart home technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute residential and commercial electrical and plumbing work.

• Visit customer sites to inspect requirements and assess the scope of work.

• Take accurate measurements and prepare material estimates for quotations.

• Plan and execute projects efficiently from start to completion.

• Supervise and coordinate with an assistant/helper during installations.

• Ensure work is completed safely, neatly, and to a high professional standard.

• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues independently.

• Coordinate with the office regarding project progress, material requirements, and customer updates.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and company assets responsibly.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in both electrical work and plumbing.

• Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.

• Good understanding of residential and commercial installations.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Honest, punctual, disciplined, and dependable.

• Physically fit and willing to work at different customer locations.

• Open to learning new technologies, including smart home systems, home automation, CCTV, networking, access control, and other modern installations.

• Willingness to undergo technical training provided by the company.

• Ability to communicate respectfully with customers and team members.

• Basic smartphone skills for WhatsApp, photos, maps, and communication.

• Ability to read basic drawings or layouts is an advantage.

• Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent trade qualification preferred.(Not an issue for the right candidate)

• Relevant field experience in electrical and plumbing works.

• Candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Employment Terms

• The selected candidate will undergo a 3-month probation period.

• During the probation period, the candidate's technical ability, workmanship, punctuality, discipline, customer interaction, attitude, and overall performance will be evaluated.

• Employment during the probation period is subject to satisfactory performance. If the candidate's performance, conduct, or suitability does not meet the company's expectations, Nexora Smart Home Solutions reserves the right to discontinue employment during or at the end of the probation period in accordance with the employment agreement and applicable labour laws.

• Successful candidates will be confirmed as permanent employees based on their performance and overall suitability for the role.
