Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Solar Light Repair Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining solar-powered lighting systems, including residential, commercial, and street lighting units. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems and a good understanding of solar technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair solar light systems including solar panels, batteries, LED lights, and wiring.

Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of solar lighting units.

Replace or upgrade faulty components such as inverters, charge controllers, and batteries.

Test system performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

Maintain accurate service records and report issues to supervisors or clients.

Follow safety protocols and electrical standards during repair work.

Educate customers on proper care and use of solar lights when required.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of solar energy systems and electrical components.

Experience in electrical or solar panel installation/repair is a plus.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical ability to work outdoors and on ladders or rooftops.

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electrical or solar systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

ITI or diploma in Electrical/Electronics.
