Job Description

Role: Installs, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains solar energy systems to ensure their safety, efficiency, and compliance with codes.

Key Duties:

Install, test, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) and/or solar thermal systems.

Diagnose and repair issues in solar equipment or system wiring.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize efficiency.

Complete electrical work including wiring, grounding, and system integration with grids.

Keep detailed records of installation, repairs, and inspections.

Support system or site design and advise on system optimization as needed.

Educate clients on safe operation and maintenance.

Requirements:

Technical training in solar energy, electrical, or related field preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read blueprints/schematics and work independently or in teams.

Safety certification and compliance awareness.

Physical ability to work outdoor
