Job Title: Electrician

Department: Maintenance / Facility Management
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager

Role Overview:

The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across the mall premises. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, safe operation of all electrical components, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

• Handle wiring, lighting, panels, power distribution, and electrical fixtures.

• Ensure smooth functioning of escalators, elevators, and HVAC systems (with the technical team).

• Attend electrical complaints from tenants, shops, and mall operations promptly.

• Maintain and update electrical maintenance logs and reports.

• Assist in energy-saving initiatives and ensure minimal downtime.

• Coordinate with facility management and external contractors during repairs or installations.

• Follow all electrical safety procedures and maintain compliance with statutory regulations.

Requirements:

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Electrician in malls, commercial buildings, or large facilities.

• Strong knowledge of LT/HT panels, UPS, DG sets, and electrical distribution systems.

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and handle repair tools.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and during emergencies.
