1. Job Summary

BPMV Business Solution is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician for its ongoing assignment associated with NBCC at the Bharat Vandana Park development project in Dwarka, New Delhi.

The selected candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, testing, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment at the project site, ensuring safe and efficient operations in accordance with project requirements and applicable safety standards.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair of wiring, cables, switches, sockets, distribution boards (DBs), MCBs, MCCBs and other electrical equipment.

2. Inspect, operate and maintain electrical panels, lighting systems, power distribution networks and associated equipment.

3. Attend electrical breakdowns, identify faults and ensure timely rectification to minimize downtime.

4. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations, including indoor and outdoor lighting systems.

5. Maintain electrical systems associated with park infrastructure, landscape lighting, pathway lighting and other assigned facilities.

6. Assist in installation, testing and maintenance of motors, pumps, control panels and earthing systems as required.

7. Conduct routine checks of electrical connections, cable terminations, insulation and earthing arrangements.

8. Follow electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), technical instructions and directions issued by site engineers and supervisors.

9. Coordinate with BPMV supervisors, NBCC representatives and other site teams for smooth execution of electrical works.

10. Maintain daily maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists and material consumption details.

11. Ensure proper handling and maintenance of electrical tools, testing instruments and safety equipment.

12. Follow all applicable electrical safety procedures, including PPE usage, isolation procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

13. Support emergency electrical maintenance activities and attend urgent site requirements when assigned.

14. Ensure workmanship, cleanliness and housekeeping standards are maintained at the worksite.

3. Educational Qualifications

• ITI in Electrician Trade from a recognized institute, preferred.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering may also be considered.

• Valid electrical competency certificate or licence, wherever required under applicable regulations.

• Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices and equipment maintenance.

4. Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2–5 years in electrical installation, maintenance or facility operations.

• Experience in infrastructure projects, parks, commercial complexes, public facilities or government projects will be preferred.

• Previous experience working on NBCC, CPWD or similar government infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.

5. Required Technical Skills

• Electrical wiring and fault identification.

• Operation and maintenance of LT panels and distribution boards.

• Knowledge of MCB, MCCB, RCCB, contactors and relays.

• Cable laying, termination and electrical testing.

• Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.

• Operation of multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester and other basic testing instruments.

• Basic understanding of earthing, electrical protection and safety systems.

• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and technical layouts.

6. Personal Competencies

• Disciplined, punctual and safety-conscious.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.

• Good coordination with supervisors and engineers.

• Willingness to perform outdoor site duties and emergency maintenance work.

• Responsible approach towards equipment, tools and project property.

7. Reporting Structure

Reporting To: Electrical Supervisor / Site Engineer / Project Manager – BPMV Business Solution

Coordination With: NBCC Site Representatives, MEP Team, Facility Management Team and other project personnel.

8. Working Conditions

• Deployment at Bharat Vandana Park, Dwarka, New Delhi.

• Working hours and weekly offs as per company policy and project requirements.

• Shift duties or emergency breakdown attendance may be required.

• Compliance with site safety rules, attendance procedures and company policies is mandatory.

9. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely completion of assigned electrical maintenance work.

• Reduction in recurring electrical faults and breakdowns.

• Compliance with electrical safety standards.

• Proper completion of preventive maintenance schedules.

• Accurate maintenance of daily work records.

• Effective coordination with site supervisors and client representatives.

• It is a Full Time Electrician job for candidates with 5 - 6 years of experience.
