Electrician

ob Purpose:

To carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation activities across the facility/plant while also supporting multi-skilled tasks in other disciplines (Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, panels, wiring, motors, and equipment.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical systems and equipment.

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues as part of multi-skilled role.

• Monitor electrical loads and maintain records of daily maintenance activities.

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, distribution boards, and UPS systems.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, standards, and company policies.

• Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and service requests.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory required for electrical and general maintenance.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for specialized repairs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).

• Minimum [0.6] years of experience in facility/electrical maintenance.

• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, wiring regulations, and preventive maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS, VFDs, and motor controls.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical & electrical systems (preferred).

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls.
