Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to work at our construction site. The candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, wiring, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely and according to approved drawings and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install electrical wiring, conduits, cables, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, DBs, panels, and other electrical equipment.
Carry out electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions from the Electrical Supervisor/Site Engineer.
Install and maintain temporary electrical power and lighting systems at the construction site.
Perform cable laying, cable termination, glanding, dressing, and connection work.
Install electrical conduits, junction boxes, cable trays, and accessories.
Carry out testing and basic fault finding of electrical installations.
Assist in installation and connection of electrical panels, motors, pumps, and other equipment.
Read and understand electrical drawings and layouts.
Identify electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety arrangements at the site.
Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and electrical safety procedures.
Coordinate with civil, plumbing, HVAC, and other site teams to avoid work conflicts.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Report material requirements, faults, unsafe conditions, and completed work to the supervisor.
Perform other electrical duties assigned by the Site Engineer or Supervisor.
Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
0–5 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in construction projects.
Experience in building construction, commercial projects, residential projects, or industrial sites will be an advantage.
Knowledge of electrical installation, wiring, cable work, DBs, panels, lighting, and earthing.
Ability to read basic electrical drawings and layouts.

Safety Responsibilities
Strictly follow electrical safety procedures and site HSE requirements.
Use appropriate PPE such as safety shoes, helmet, gloves, safety harness, and eye protection.
Ensure electrical tools and equipment are safe before use.
Do not work on live circuits unless specifically authorized and proper safety procedures are followed.
Immediately report electrical hazards, damaged cables, exposed wiring, or unsafe conditions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors and in construction-site conditions.
Ability to stand, bend, climb, lift, and work in confined or elevated areas when required.
Ability to work flexible hours or overtime depending on project requirements.
