A Construction Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. They work with wiring, lighting, control systems, electrical panels, and equipment while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
Install electrical wiring, conduits, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting systems
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical diagrams
Assemble and install electrical systems in new construction and renovation projects
Test electrical systems and troubleshoot faults or malfunctions
Ensure all installations comply with local electrical codes and safety regulations
Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site supervisors
Perform maintenance and repair work as required
Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment
Maintain records of work completed and materials used
