Job Summary

The Wireman – Electrical is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in the factory. The role ensures proper functioning of electrical systems, machines, and panels while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, control panels, switches, and distribution boards.

• Perform wiring for machines, motors, and electrical equipment.

• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.

• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems.

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.

• Ensure proper earthing, cable management, and electrical safety compliance.

• Read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Replace faulty components such as switches, relays, fuses, contactors, and circuit breakers.

• Maintain tools and electrical equipment in good working condition.

• Follow company safety guidelines and electrical safety procedures.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical wiring and panel connections.

• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and layouts.

• Knowledge of electrical tools, testing instruments, and safety practices.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical faults.

• Understanding of motors, switches, and control panels.

Qualification

• ITI in Wireman / Electrician or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

• 1 – 3 years of experience in electrical wiring or maintenance in a factory / manufacturing environment.

Other Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical safety standards.

• Ability to work in shifts if required.

• Physically fit for field work.

• It is a Full Time Electrician job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
