Key Responsibilities – Control Panel & Power Panel Wireman
Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and panel layouts.
Perform control panel and power panel wiring as per approved drawings and specifications.
Install and wire components such as MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, timers, overloads, terminal blocks, SMPS, transformers, VFDs, PLCs, and push buttons.
Perform proper cable cutting, dressing, routing, ferruling, crimping, and termination.
Carry out power and control circuit wiring accurately and safely.
Install and connect busbars, cable ducts, terminals, switches, meters, and other electrical components.
Perform continuity, insulation, and point-to-point testing of panel wiring.
Identify and rectify wiring faults, loose connections, short circuits, and incorrect terminations.
Assist in panel testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety practices during wiring and testing.
Maintain proper wire numbering, ferruling, cable identification, and panel labeling.
Coordinate with design, production, testing, and engineering teams for panel completion.
Ensure work is completed according to quality standards, electrical drawings, and project timelines.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of wiring inside the panel.
Follow all required electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.
