AutoCAD Designer

Job Description:

Navodaya Powertech is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Designer with experience in electrical design, especially in the panel builder segment. The candidate will play a critical role in preparing precise technical drawings and layouts to support production and project teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings for GA (General Arrangement) and SLD (Single Line Diagrams).

• Draft electrical layouts for control panels, wiring, and component placement.

• Modify and update drawings based on production inputs and client requirements.

• Collaborate with the costing and production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

• Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant electrical standards and internal guidelines.

• Maintain organized records of all project drawings and documentation.

• Assist in BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation where required.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D

• Knowledge of electrical symbols and drafting standards

• Experience in panel design or electrical layout drafting

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field

• Certification in AutoCAD is an added advantage

• It is a Full Time Electrician job for candidates with 0 - 2 years of experience.
