Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to operate a 20-foot delivery/transport vehicle for [Company Name]. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations while ensuring vehicle maintenance and compliance with traffic laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and drive a 20-foot vehicle for deliveries or pickups as assigned.

Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, logs, and delivery confirmations.

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Ensure cargo is secured and complies with load safety standards.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.

Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Perform minor vehicle troubleshooting when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with appropriate class for 20-foot vehicle (e.g., Light Commercial Vehicle or equivalent).

Proven experience driving 20-foot trucks or similar vehicles.

Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Physically fit; able to lift and move heavy packages (as required).

Familiarity with local routes, GPS, and mapping software.

Good communication and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays if required.
