About the Role

Gautam Singhania Global School is looking for a responsible and proactive Transport Supervisor to manage the daily operations of the school's transportation system. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in school transportation management and be capable of ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of students.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the school bus fleet.

• Coordinate with bus drivers, attendants, and transport vendors to ensure smooth transportation services.

• Monitor bus routes, schedules, and timely pick-up/drop-off of students.

• Ensure compliance with school transport safety norms and government regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections of buses to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.

• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, driver attendance, and route schedules.

• Address transport-related concerns raised by parents, school authorities, and staff promptly.

• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and breakdown management.

• Ensure all drivers and bus attendants adhere to safety protocols and school policies.

• Prepare transport reports and assist in improving operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as a Transport Supervisor, preferably in a school environment.

• Knowledge of school bus operations, route planning, and transport safety regulations.

• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage drivers, bus attendants, and transport vendors effectively.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, and record maintenance).

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with prior experience in school transportation will be given preference.

• Candidates residing near Thane or nearby locations are highly preferred.

• Male candidates preferred.

• Immediate joiners will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time Driver job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
