Tempo Driver

Role Summary

We are seeking a reliable and highly responsible Tempo Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to transport goods, materials, or passengers safely while managing customer orders and inventory. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle order picking, in-transit tracking, and direct customer deliveries with a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment & Loading (Important):

  • Pick and load custom customer orders accurately before departure to ensure the correct items are loaded for each specific delivery.

  • Assist in safely packing and securing goods to prevent damage during transit.

• Customer Deliveries:

  • Perform direct customer deliveries and pickups, ensuring a professional and courteous interaction at every stop.

  • Verify order details with customers upon delivery to ensure satisfaction and accuracy.

• Inventory Management:

  • Keep track of in-transit inventory, ensuring that all goods loaded match the delivery manifest and remain accounted for throughout the trip.

  • Report any discrepancies in stock or damaged goods immediately.

• Transportation & Safety:

  • Drive assigned tempo vehicles to transport goods or passengers as per the schedule.

  • Follow traffic rules, prioritize safety, and maintain a valid commercial driving license.

• Vehicle Maintenance & Records:

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct regular checks.

  • Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 0.5 to 6 years of experience as a Tempo Driver or in a similar commercial driving role.

• Education: Minimum qualification 10th and above, but flexible for the right candidate.

• Licensing: Must possess a valid driving license with a clean driving record.

• Skills:

  • Ability to handle inventory tracking and order picking.

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps.

  • Strong attention to detail for custom orders.

  • Good Coustomer Intractions.

  • Inventory tracking and ability to pick, load and diliver customers orders accurately.
