Job Description – Private Car Driver-cum-Logistics Assistant

Office Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
Preferred Residence: Nerul or nearby areas
Salary: ₹20,000–₹22,000 per month, or higher depending upon driving skills, experience and performance in the interview-cum-driving test.
Duty Timings
08:50 AM: Report for duty at the FEPL office.
06:45 PM: Complete and submit the daily vehicle logbook, including kilometres, fuel, tolls, parking and assignments.
07:00 PM: Normal leaving time.
The candidate must be flexible for occasional early reporting, late working and outstation duties.
Main Responsibilities
Drive the assigned car safely, smoothly and punctually for official and authorised personal travel.
Open and close the car doors for passengers and assist guests, elderly persons and family members while entering or leaving the vehicle.
Carefully load, arrange and unload luggage, baggage, parcels and materials, ensuring that nothing is damaged or left behind.
Possess excellent knowledge of traffic rules and strictly follow speed limits, lane discipline, parking regulations and road-safety requirements.
Collect and deliver company materials, spare parts, documents, cheques, parcels and samples; verify their basic quantity and condition and obtain proper acknowledgement.
Keep the car’s interior and exterior clean, hygienic and presentable, and ensure that it is ready before every journey.
Ensure that the fuel level never falls below half a tank, retain fuel receipts and record the kilometre reading at each refuelling.
Monitor the vehicle’s mileage/average and immediately report any unusual increase in fuel consumption.
Maintain tyre pressure according to the manufacturer’s recommendation and regularly inspect all tyres, including the spare tyre.
Regularly check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid, battery, lights, brakes, indicators, wipers and dashboard warning lights.
Monitor servicing, insurance, registration, PUC and FASTag requirements and inform the company before their due dates.
Avoid rash driving, speeding, harsh braking, unnecessary engine idling, unauthorised trips and mobile-phone use while driving.
Maintain accurate daily records of opening and closing kilometres, journeys, fuel, tolls, parking, repairs and other vehicle-related expenses.
Maintain complete confidentiality, remain polite, attentive and well-groomed, and report for duty sober, alert and properly dressed.
Preferably reside in Nerul or nearby areas, so that early reporting or returning home after occasional late duty does not create difficulty.
Employment: The selected candidate will be appointed on the payroll of FEPL Engineering Pvt. Ltd., subject to document verification, satisfactory references and successful completion of the interview-cum-driving test.
