📌 Role Overview

The Dumper Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and debris across various roadwork sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow continuity and supporting timely project execution.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate dumper trucks to transport loose materials to and from construction zones

• Load and unload materials using hydraulic dump mechanisms or assistive equipment

• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, fluids, brakes, lights)

• Navigate uneven terrain and confined spaces safely within active construction sites

• Adhere to traffic laws and site-specific safety protocols

• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

• Communicate with site supervisors and logistics teams for coordinated material movement

• Perform basic truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly

🎯 Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating heavy-duty dump trucks

• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards

• Physical stamina to handle long hours and heavy loads

• Ability to interpret hand signals and follow verbal instructions

• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
