Heavy Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate large commercial vehicles such as trucks, trailers, tankers, or other heavy-duty equipment for transporting goods and materials. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, and maintain the vehicle in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently on highways, urban roads, and industrial zones.

• Load, transport, and unload goods as per company procedures.

• Ensure all documentation such as delivery notes, manifests, and logbooks are completed accurately.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.

• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle.

• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency.

• Report accidents, incidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.

• Assist with cargo loading/unloading when required.

• Follow health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid heavy vehicle driving license (e.g., CDL, HGV license depending on country).

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver.

• Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

• Ability to operate GPS systems and digital logbooks.

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (if required).

• Clean driving record.

• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.

• High level of responsibility and reliability.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and long shifts.
