Job Description: Heavy Vehicle Driver (20ft/40ft Open Truck Trailer)

Location: In & around Manali, Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate 40ft open truck trailers for transporting 20ft and 40ft containers safely and efficiently.

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of containers to designated locations.

• Maintain proper documentation related to trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery notes.

• Perform routine checks on the vehicle before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.

• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

• Follow all road safety regulations, company transport policies, and port/yard rules.

Requirements:

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HVDL) – mandatory.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in driving 40ft open truck trailers and container transport.

• Candidates from in and around Manali, Chennai preferred.

• Tamil language proficiency preferred.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.

• Immediate joiners highly preferred.
