Job Description

A BOPT (Battery Operated Pallet Truck) driver safely operates a motorized pallet jack to load, unload, and transport heavy goods within a warehouse. Responsibilities include moving pallets between storage and shipping areas, conducting daily equipment inspections, and managing inventory while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling: Safely drive and maneuver the BOPT to lift, load, unload, and transport heavy palletized goods across short and medium distances within the facility.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks on battery levels, charging status, hydraulics, and brakes to ensure the equipment remains in safe working condition.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to speed limits, stacking height limits (typically up to 1.5 meters), and all workplace safety regulations to prevent accidents.
Order Picking & Inventory: Assist in retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists, and help keep accurate records of stock and storage locations
